Before design begins.
We observe, analyze, and plan— our role isn’t to draw the building; it’s to keep what gets drawn aligned with what the owner decided. That's why architecture and engineering firms bring us onto pursuit teams instead of treating us as competition.
When we join your team, we strengthen the front end of the project and leave the design where it belongs.

One score guidance.
We score six dimensions, rank the portfolio, and name the projects that move the number. A backlog figure tells you how far behind you are—not which decision to make first.
When we hand you a plan, the priorities are defensible, and you can explain why any project sits where it does, to anyone who asks.

Built to be explained.
We write for the room where the money gets approved, present in that room, and stay to answer the questions. A finding only the facilities department can interpret hasn't been communicated—it has only been recorded.
When we finish, your board, your council, or your community can repeat the reasoning back in their own words.
Independent by design.

We observe to document the baseline, analyze to reveal understanding, and recommend the "next right thing" to do. Our recommendations are grounded in what the project needs—not in what we may ultimately provide.
When we tell you a building is worth renewing, you can trust that conclusion stands on its own, whether the next step is renewal or an energy solution.
HOW WE WORK
We observe, analyze, and plan. Our recommendations are grounded in what the project needs, ensuring strategic value before design even begins.

Catherine Tinkler

Renewal Lead
Catherine decides what aging buildings are worth keeping. She built the six-dimension scoring model behind our work and plans for the transformation of aging facilities into resilient, future-ready assets. A recognized "engineer whisperer", she makes the technical approachable so that decisions get made.
Vice President - Principal
Renew Advisors, LLC. is owned and managed by a veteran. That shapes how we work, not just our ownership paperwork. Military service builds a discipline around mission, process, and accountability that carries straight into how we approach facility assessments and capital planning: gather the real data, follow it where it leads, and make the call — even when it's not the comfortable one.
For our clients, that means a partner who tells you what's actually going on with your buildings rather than what's easiest to hear, backs it with a clear and defensible plan, and stands behind the recommendation. It's also why we're currently pursuing SDVOSB certification through the Texas VetHUB program and the federal SDVOSB program — formalizing what already shapes how we do business.
