With over 25 years in facility operations, maintenance, and capital planning, Catherine has a good sense of how the condition of a building shows up everywhere else — in energy bills, in organizational outcomes, in how people actually feel using the space. She's an assessment specialist and certified Existing Building Commissioning Professional (EBCP) who built her own framework for evaluating facility condition, suitability, well-being, energy efficiency, resilience, and decarbonization, then uses advanced scoring to help clients figure out what to prioritize and why.
Her work spans campus master plans, central plant renewals, feasibility studies, and capital improvement and sustainment strategies, across education, healthcare, and other institutional clients. She's also spent time as a Director of Strategic Planning and Special Projects in higher education herself, so she knows what these decisions look like from the institution's side of the table. She thinks in terms of lifecycle costs and total cost of ownership rather than day-one price tags, and she's equally comfortable digging into engineered systems and translating what she finds into recommendations people can actually act on — tailored to what the institution is trying to accomplish, not a generic checklist.
